SIEGFRIED lived chained alone for 2 years on the rooftop of an apartment building with no shelter and no regular meals. A neighbour opposite the rooftop observed this lonely dog, and finally contacted his current foster mum to ask for help. The neighbour went to the owner and asked for the dog – the owner was happy to give him away.

SIEGFRIED came to live with his lovely foster mum – he had a metal plate in his front leg which was protruding out of his skin,
otherwise he was in reasonable health. The vet said that he must have fallen from the roof sometime and broken the leg but he was never taken back to have the plate removed.
We immediately had the plate removed and his leg has healed beautifully.

SIEGFRIED loves being a family dog. He sleeps in a dog bed next to his foster mum’s bed, he is extremely well behaved and obedient.
He is house trained. He is excellent on the lead and very obedient off lead.
He loves car rides more than anything and is happy to travel to the shops and cafes. His behaviour is very good.

SIEGFRIED loves people and children, he is learning to play after his long time alone on the roof.
He has a very funny character and loves to play jokes on people – like bringing a toy and then jumping out of your reach – he smiles all the time!

SIEGFRIED is happy around other dogs, and shares the bedroom with cats.

SIEGFRIED has no personality or health issues except for the healed break in his front leg.
He may get some arthritis there when he is old.

This is the perfect dog for an older couple who want a companion in the home,
the car, and for walking for pleasure. He is a relaxed and calm dog – just the most perfect best friend!

SIEGFRIED will be given through the Pointer-Freunde e.V. with an adoption package and an adoption fee. Please contact us for more information via PM.
